New London graduate pursues fast track to degrees and pageants
Kim Baker, a 1998 New London High School graduate, earned an associate degree in communications and is on track to complete a BA in communications this year. At barely 20, she aims for Miss Ohio again and plans to pursue a master’s, law school, and a career in broadcasting while volunteering for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Her sister Becky, an Army ammunition specialist, will attend the Miss Ohio pageant, and Kim will perform on tenor sax in the talent portion.
