Fast food fries switch to cholesterol free oil
McDonald’s and Wendy’s announce a move to 100 percent vegetable oil for fries to cut saturated fat. Hardee’s adopted the switch earlier and Burger King will follow, joining Arby’s and KFC already frying in vegetable oil. Phil Sokolof led anti cholesterol ads targeting McDonald’s.
