Charles Spence Zl of 316 Bond Street pleaded guilty in Mayor's Court to failing to keep his vehicle under control after his car plowed into the front of Koplin's Drug Store at 636 Lodi Street near Rt 57. A four alarm blaze at Our Lady of Lourdes school in Cleveland caused about 75,000 in damage. Firefighters arrived soon after 12 4 a.m and fought for over an hour to control the fire. The roof partially collapsed with most damage at the top. water damage affected the rest of the 35 year old building. No injuries reported and the church near the school escaped damage.
