Weak sales pressure hits Best Buy and Sears in quarter
New York reports the two retailers blame weak electronics results on cautious shoppers amid online competition and a stagnant market. Best Buy revenue fell 3 percent to 9.04 billion with a 1.9 percent drop in same stores. Sears cites weak TV sales at Kmart and Sears, while Lampert promotes a pivot to connected living.
