Elyria High School graduates heard superintendent Paul Rigda urge them to love, laugh, listen, learn, be loyal and never set limits as they head to college and life beyond Elyria. He faced the students directly, delivering a straight message about life after school.

Lorain County Community College celebrated its largest graduating class with over 500 in attendance and more than 1,600 degrees. President Roy Church urged graduates to build strong communities while students like Bill Wolf of Wellington and Rachel Sabo of the class pursue career advancement through university partnerships and local clinics. The ceremony read nearly 90 minutes of names as graduates receive associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees and look to apply their credentials locally.
