Solar powered home to feed city energy needs
In Palo Alto California architect Dennis Kebra plans a fully solar energy dependent home with 90 photovoltaic panels to convert sunlight into electricity. The system aims to produce 3185 watts at peak hours and could spin the electric meter backward by sending surplus power to the utility. In Lawrence Kansas psychologist David Holmes reports meditation shows no advantage over reclining chair relaxation in lowering heart rate or muscle tension, with similar readings across blood pressure breathing and perspiration.
