Moyer backs ethics as Ohio Supreme Court faces review
Ohio Chief Justice Thomas Moyer told the Ohio State Bar Association he is convinced his campaign finance committee did not violate election laws. He criticized the Akron Beacon Journal, noted court reforms since January, and supported merit selection to reduce campaign money influence. The secretary of state is reviewing the campaign reports following a Beacon Journal report about Roxbury Associates.
