Seventh Grade Dictatorship Ends in Classroom Scandal
In Mill Valley California a seventh grade self government project collapsed when teacher George Muldoon seized power after most students confessed to crimes under their own rules. The make believe state Amasudatamale printed money and ran concessions while police and bank systems were corrupted leading to a counterfeiting scheme of over 300000. Muldoon replaced the system with a dictatorship and says the class now contemplates a socialist model.

Aurora teachers approve new bargaining pact ending strike
Aurora Education Association members ratified a new bargaining agreement as the City Board of Education considers acceptance. The April 26 strike followed the board's layoff of 17 teachers amid money problems and declining enrollment. Officials noted serious deliberations and expected teachers to return once the pact is approved. A statewide walkout threat hovered over potential suspension of teaching certificates. The reorganization plan retroactively benefits higher classifications, with salary inequities to be corrected. The cost of living clause remains, with a city cap of 426 dollars yearly.
