Wellington Board Sets Tuition Limits For Huntington Pupils
Wellington School Board voted unanimously to admit only eleventh and twelfth grade pupils from Huntington in 1952 53 and only twelfth grade pupils in 1953 54. The move follows higher high school enrollment from consolidation with Brighton and seventh grade growth. Rochester district tuition pupils were rejected due to Rochester residents’ indecision. Teachers with expiring contracts were rehired. Memorial events announced include commencement May 29 with speaker Joseph Rosenmurgy of Akron First Methodist Church.
