Wellington Man Dies At Wheel Of Automobile
Arthur Masurk a 64 year old Wellington man died of a heart attack while in his car on Route 162 near Huntington. His body was found slumped over the steering wheel at 930 PM Saturday by Robert Peden who stopped to check the scene. Former Elyrian Fatally Injured in Farm Tractor Accident
Michael Salata aged 54 is dead after a tractor incident on his New London area farm Saturday at 10 AM. He suffered a broken neck skull fractures and multiple limb injuries and died at New London Hospital at 9 10 AM Sunday. Firemen Rescue Man And Boy From Auto In River Ford
Elyria firemen were called to Cascade Park yesterday afternoon to rescue a man and a boy from a stalled automobile in the Black River at a ford. The car driven by Elmer Reichart of Columbia Station was waterlogged and would not move due to a broken jack shaft. Firefighters used a service truck, a boat and ropes to push and pull the vehicle to safety. The incident followed another call about a car fire on Lake Avenue and Bond Street, which was extinguished after the distributor got wet and gasoline was used to dry it.
