The infant, well developed and believed born alive, was bound with a handkerchief around the neck and left unclothed. Coroner Miles Perry to order autopsy to determine if birth was live. authorities suspect murder.
London May 22 Wives of British Labour Ministers show little interest in royal court introductions due to cost and practicality. Ministers' wives complain outfits are expensive and seldom reusable while some see no need to bow to tradition. Only Mrs J H Thomas and a few others have pursued presentation plans as the season at Buckingham Palace nears.
