Man Bound Over In Elyria Lumber Co. Break In Case
Willie M. Hopkins of Cleveland was bound over to the Lorain County grand jury on charges of breaking and entering at the Elyria Lumber and Coal Co. warehouse on Chestnut. He pleaded innocent, waived preliminary hearing, and bond of 2500 was continued. Two other Cleveland men Lewie Wilson and Arron Morgan appeared, requested attorney continuances, and hearings were set for Thursday next week. Hopkins confessed to being in the building and named two accomplices, with one more unidentified man. Patrols reported a yard sighting, a shot fired, and the suspects fleeing in different directions.
