Amazon reports that since April 1 its e book sales exceed printed books by 105 to 100 and that e books now outsell hard covers. The Kindle with Special Offers has become the top seller at $114, five weeks after launch.

Four Loko maker sued after teen’s death
The family of 15 year old John Donald Rupp III sues Phusion Projects in Chicago claiming the caffeinated alcoholic beverage contributed to his death after he drank two drinks and became disoriented. The suit cites careless and negligent design and notes the FDA had warned caffeine was unsafe with alcohol. Phusion later removed caffeine from its products in 2010.
