Residents urge repeal of Kingston Place approval in Ridgeville
Avon attorney Gerald Phillips sent a May 11 letter to Ridgeville City Council urging repeal of the Kingston Place development approval. The Building and Lands Committee will consider drafting legislation, with no meeting time set. Council previously approved two ordinances, one for the plans and one rezoning 200 acres, amid a public hearing dispute and questions over legality. Mayor Deanna Hill defended the actions, saying the process was legal and typical despite combined actions in one ordinance.
