Bouklias and Turner testified for Curtis before a Stark County grand jury and later admitted false testimony leading to Curtis' conviction.
Leonard Cline denied involvement as a blood donor to save Wilfred Irwin who died after a buckshot wound. Irwin and Cline were at Old Hickory Cline's summer home when the shooting occurred. State police guard Cline as inquest nears, while reports say the transfusion attempt was voluntary and aimed to save Irwin's life.
May 17. The grand jury in session narrows its probe into the College Corner Bank crash and a shortage of 3148,000. A letter from former cashier Mrs Tory Douglass Duvall fails to provide new information. Cashier Charles Stout, 35, has refused to testify as charges of misapplication of funds and larceny are filed.
