Elyria Wrestling Club qualified six for the state tournament at the USA Wrestling qualifier held at St. Edward High School. Darrin Farrow won the 132 title with five pins, Doug Foor captured the 191 crown by defeating two St. Edward opponents, while Duke Blake Slee finished second at heavyweight and Kevin Higgins, Chris Fisk, and Todd Hollett placed fourth in their weights.
