Teenagers seek parental trust and disciplined love
A landmark survey of almost 200 teens and 160000 responses shows teens fear parental death more than divorce. They want parents who listen without lecturing, give credit for knowledge, trust them, and use mutually agreed discipline. They seek honesty and less guilt, hoping parents let them grow toward independence.
