Disabled student to graduate with class at Beachwood High
Beachwood High School will award 18 year old Scott Kendis a diploma June 6 after a dispute over post graduation vocational training. The district had said its financial obligation ended at graduation, while the family sought additional career education funded privately. Two Die in Apparent Shooting at Urbana Home
The bodies of a man and his former son in law were found dead in a Urbana home on Friday with gunshot wounds. Champaign County Sheriff David Deskins identified the 911 call and noted the man named Legge was found. The sheriff could not confirm homicide or self harm. Deskins said the suspect Longwell’s ex wife had a protection order against him.
