Andersen auditor says shredding was legal in Enron probe
Former Arthur Andersen partner David Duncan testified he implicitly encouraged staff to shred documents amid SEC investigations into Enron, claiming he believed retention rules allowed destruction until a subpoena. He described discussions with superiors after Enron worries and said he now faces possible disbarment after his felony conviction.
