Northern Savings and First Place announce a merger to combine strengths for customers and communities. All Northern Savings branches stay open with the same personal service while access to new products from larger banks expands. The First Place Community Foundation will donate 1.0 million to fund neighborhood programs directed by Northern Savings board members.
