FireFish Festival expands to two days in Lorain
The third annual FireFish Festival returns in Lorain as a two day event October 6 from 5 to 10 pm and October 7 from 2 to 11 pm. Executive Director James Levin says the expansion offers more access to Northeast Ohioans and will attract high profile artists. A Friday Broadway concert precedes a Saturday finale featuring a percussion parade and burning of a ceremonial fish on the Black River. The event includes teen arts apprentices from the FireFish Arts Summer STEAM Academy and is sponsored by FirstEnergy Foundation.
