Huron delays action on manager resignation
Huron City Council again delays action on the resignation of City Manager David Markusse who becomes effective in one month. Markusse, in post five years, offered his resignation after a malfeasance charge by Mayor Peter Walderzak over a $70,000 overruns on the Oklahoma Subdivision paving and storm sewer project. Walderzak urged action or at least to begin advertising for a replacement. The council voted 4-2 to table the issue, with Walderzak and Stanley Wrotney dissenting.
