Behind the Camera Exposes Three's Company Fallout
Joyce DeWitt defends the sitcom's fun side while criticizing Behind the Camera The Unauthorized Story of Three's Company. The NBC special recounts cast tensions, Somers ego clashes, and Ritter spin off plans, with DeWitt seeking balance and personal growth after the 1977 1984 run. DeWitt notes 80 to 90 percent of filming was enjoyable, and she pursued spiritual exploration afterward.
