Former Sheffield Lake man sentenced for long-running abuse
Odin Rathnam, 59, formerly of Sheffield Lake, received 15 to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty or no contest to 28 charges of sexual assault against a Pennsylvania victim over more than a decade. The Dauphin County DA offered the deal to spare the victim from testifying as Rathnam, concertmaster of the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra and former Cleveland State University instructor, faces lifelong sex offender registry obligations. The crimes occurred during his tenure, ending in 2012. Pope Leo XIV's coat of arms was unveiled on Saturday.
