Amherst Mother Daughter Banquet Highlights Community Ties
The third annual Amherst High School Friends Club Mother Daughter Banquet drew about 300 attendees in the school gym. Decorations featured chains and violets, with a program on friendship and a candlelight officers’ installation led by president Lahiff. New officers include Helen Fleming as president and Helen Heck as vice president, as well as a filled schedule of talks, solos, and a universal club message.
