Discretion Praised After Elyria Man's Final Act
Delbert E. Sheppard Jr. of Elyria aimed a .38 revolver at a trooper on the Ohio Turnpike near Florence Township and then along Route 60 in Vermilion Township. After a chase by Erie County deputies, he apparently died by suicide as officers pursued, amid prior charges of rape kidnapping and domestic violence pending in Lorain County Common Pleas Court.

Existing homes are now highly affordable, enabling a wealth transfer to younger buyers and potentially lower living costs despite local market variations.
