Westlake students shine at Shakespeare short film festival
Westlake High School senior Angela Vilcheck was among three northeast Ohio students selected for the 24th Cleveland International Film Festival with Shakespeare's Shorts A Film Series. The project paired Great Lakes Theater Festival and the Cleveland Film Society to mentor high schoolers creating two to 29 minute films inspired by Shakespeare. Vilcheck, 18, portrayed Shakespeare's dying days from his view using modern music rather than dialogue.
