Sunday Observance and Youth in Modern Times

A reader asks Dr Cadman about proper Sunday observance for teens, noting 17 and 14 year olds drawn to dances, cards, and music. Cadman argues Sabbatarian rigidity has softened, urges balanced parental guidance, spiritual home influence, and responsible recreation, warning unchecked youth appetites threaten future virtue. He adds a Job quotation clarification on Redeemer versus vindicator and the meaning of “from” in a second line, both rooted in biblical translation. He emphasizes intelligent respect for the Lord’s Day without forcing church attendance.
