Predator drones to base in Ohio preserves 866 jobs
The Pentagon assigns a Predator drone unit to the Springfield Air National Guard base in Ohio, expanding its mission and adding work with the National Air and Space Intelligence Center. The move secures 866 jobs, funds F-16 maintenance, and supports local and federal collaboration. Former Rep. David Hobson calls the plan positive for the base's long term viability.
