Norwalk Man Killed In Stolen Plane Crash At Milan
A 24 year old Norwalk resident Elbert D. Jackson died after a two seat 1939 Aeronca Chief stolen from Norwalk Airport crashed near Milan striking a brewery smokestack and buildings. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Norwalk Memorial Hospital. The crash occurred at 6 50 p m near U S Route 250. Local highway patrol investigated with Civil Aeronautics Administration notified. Damage to the old Milan Brewery building estimated at 3000 dollars.
