Pardee Renominated for Ninth District Court of Appeals
In the Akron Beacon Journal endorsement for Judge William E. Pardee, the Ninth Judicial District race for the Court of Appeals is framed as a choice between Pardee and Akron attorney Stanley Denlinger. Pardee is praised for a liberal, courtly record and civic work, while Denlinger is criticized for mudslinging and questionable tactics. The editorial urges voters to reelect Pardee, noting his poise amid attacks and his history of consumer-rate advocacy and public-spirited service in Summit, Lorain, and Medina counties.
