Children’s Home In Oberlin Gets New Administrators
Lorain County Child Welfare Board announces the resignation of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth R. Cook as superintendent and matron of the Lorain County Children’s Home in Oberlin effective June 15. Mr. and Mrs. Denver M. Keplinger of Lebanon are named their successors. The Keplingers have managed Warren County Orphan’s Asylum and Children’s Home for three years and were chosen from civil service eligible list after a local exam. A $7,000 traffic death case filed in common pleas court misnamed defendants. Anna Greenwald, administratrix, named Leonard W. Earnhart at 1411 Lake Avenue. a "not found" sheriff return followed. Attorneys later revealed the incorrect Barnhart was named. Richard W. Barnhart of 1411 Lake Avenue has no connection to the Route 76 Medina County accident that killed Walter Greenwald on December 24 while changing a tire.
