Broadway project delayed by Lorain budget woes
Lorain Ohio delays Broadway streetscape work due to a 3.6 million budget deficit. Waterline work is finished but repaving plans tied to Route 6 in 2017, not the 2016 Route 57 project. City will fund 681,258 of 3.4 million, using license plate fee revenue and existing matching funds. Street improvements would add widened sidewalks and signage from West 10th Street to Route 6.
