Family seeks DOJ probe into 2019 Richland jail death of Alex Rios
Wakeman man Don Mould urges federal review after coroner Daniel Burwell ruled the 28 year old died from excitable delirium, a disputed cause of death in Ohio. Surveillance video later surfaced showing the death and prompted a $4 million settlement to the Rios family. A special prosecutor indicted one jail guard on homicide charges but he was acquitted. The family seeks civil rights review and accountability for officials who delayed releasing the video and information.
