Iran releases eight American hostage bodies amid new intrusion claims
Iran handed over the charred remains of eight Americans killed in the failed rescue to Greek Catholic Archbishop Hilarion Capucci who said the coffins would be flown to Zurich and then to the United States via International Red Cross. Iran also reported four possibly American helicopters violated its airspace near Birjak in Kahnuj.

Man dives for boy in Cuyahoga River rescue attempt
North Olmsted resident Dave Cavalsini leapt into the murky Cuyahoga River after eight year old Kenneth Bell fell in while walking near the Flats. Despite reaching the spot and diving several times, he could not reach the boy as water depth exceeded 15 feet. Kenneth is survived by parents Kenneth Bell Sr and Joyce and six siblings. The family lives at 1018 Fairfield Ave in Cleveland.

Cyclist killed wife critically injured in Elyria crash
Delmar Murphy a 30 year old North Ridgeville man died at Elyria Memorial Hospital after a Sunday motorcycle crash on Rt 57 near Cleveland Street. His wife Lynda 27 was listed in critical condition in the ICU. Police said Murphy riding behind another bike driven by Roland Phelps 30 of Elyria failed to slow and struck the other motorcycle causing both to lose control. Murphy was not wearing a helmet. Phelps received minor injuries.
