New London to pursue RR overpass
New London officials vote to pursue an overpass over the railroad to ease daily train blocks. County Engineer recommends routing from New London Township on Route 162 over the tracks to Route 60 north of town, with costs potentially over 2 million and part funded by the village. The council also leases village hall space to a surgeon, reviews an alley vacation petition, approves removing a bridge, accepts a police officer’s resignation, and notes the town is named Tree City USA for the 15th straight year.
