Two fatal accidents in Lorain County yesterday
A 15 year old boy, Paul Lahetta, died after a bicycle collision on West Ridge Road near his home. In Lorain, 44 year old crane rigger Earl Janda was killed when a crane boom collapsed on the deck of the ore carrier Thomas E. Millsap. Four others were injured including Andrew Wolfe who is listed as fair. Authorities cited a snapped cable during routine ship inspection as the cause. Funeral plans for both victims were announced, with services for Janda and Lahetta set in Lorain.
