United Press reports a deadly week of accidents across Ohio. Lisbon residents Paul Bailey and Darward Hoileman died after a truck collided with a Pennsylvania train near Alliance. Bailey burned, Hoileman died in hospital. Teammate Seward Hutchinson was in critical condition. Other fatalities included Francis Burklew near Cardington after falling asleep at the wheel, Stanton White on Route 4 in Hendry Township, Pasquale Carline in Leetonia as a hitchhiker was struck, and John Connell in Ravenna when a vehicle struck a building. Charles Moore, 38, died after being struck by a car while exiting a bus near Brongsville.

No Decision On Guffey Coal Act
Washington May 4 The Supreme Court today failed to hand down a decision in the Guffey coal act test keeping a new record for time to consider New Deal cases. The court will not issue a ruling before March 18 as it takes a two week recess. By May 18 the case has been before the court for 67 days, surpassing the 64 day TVA test record.

Two men, Michael Huppuch of Buffalo and Grant Fretz of Port Colbourne, were thrown from their boat when moving ice packs crushed it off Fort Colbourne Ontario. Elyria Youth Drowns In Black River
Robert Frederick McNeal a 15 year old Elyria High sophomore drowned in the Black River while in a home made rowboat with four other boys. The boat capsized near Fourth Street Bridge and efforts by bystanders and firemen failed to save him. His funeral will be held Wednesday at Nichols funeral home.
