United States and North Vietnam Agree to Paris Talks Site

American Ship to begin 7 million Lorain expansion

American Ship Building Co. announces a $7 million Lorain expansion to start immediately. The project, contracted to The Horvitz Co. of Cleveland, adds Drydock No. 3 and new fabrication, storage, and processing facilities. It enables two ships or a ship repair alongside construction, with a 858-foot ore carrier to be built for U S Steel.
