Amherst Chautauqua Opens With Varied Five Day Program
The Amherst Chautauqua will run August 2 3 and 6 offering five days of entertainment. Two plays, noted violist, distinguished lecturers, and top musical companies are scheduled. Redpath Chautauqua features Smilin Through on August 3 and Ripple-Bance on August 5. Lecturers include Capt Norman A M Imrie and Arthur Walwyn Evans with Dr J S G McMurtry. Musical guests include Julge Slav Tamburica Orchestra Irède Stolish and the Glenna Wells Co. plus the Dumond Serenaders. Also Amos Seabury clown, Juggler and comedian Wm Pryon Lanjoist.
