City eyes road repair funding from tax credit plan
Treasurer Stan Zaborski outlines a plan where 30 percent of extra revenue funds the general fund and 10 percent goes to Sheffield Lake police and fire. The proposal aims to boost road spending from 36,000 yearly to over 300,000, enabling grant matching over time. Armando Catanese cautions improvements will take years. Residents earning 40,000 with outside income would face about 200 extra dollars annually.
