Reopening call on Port Chicago mutiny case
A congressional resolution would force the United States to reopen court martial convictions of 50 black sailors who refused to load munitions in 1944 at Port Chicago in San Francisco. The 320 sailors died in blasts, with more than 200 black. The issue includes alleged conflicts of interest noted in KRON-TV coverage.
