Pay to participate dropped for Sheffield Lake students
Sheffield Lake School Board announced that no pay-to-participate sports fees will be required in the 1990-91 year. Superintendent Chiavetta said the $210 charge was a 1989-90 measure tied to a deficit, with next year funded by the budget and property tax revenue. The board also rescinded a 1989 resolution threatening bus elimination if a levy failed, keeping busing in next year’s plan.
