Political Shift Impossible Now Under Ohio Law
Ohio law restricts changing party ballots at primaries. A voter cannot request a different party ballot from the 1933 primary. If not voting in 1953, a voter may request the opposite party ballot only if they voted in November 1952 for a majority of that party's candidates. Party determination depends on even year voting.
