Election board chair sues to keep his job
CLEVELAND The Cuyahoga County elections board chair who heads the Ohio Republican Party sues Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner to block removal. Bennett claims the removal law is unconstitutional and that Brunner cannot act on pre office conduct. Brunner defends the move as necessary to improve Cleveland area elections.

Lola Young, 73, of Peebles Ohio, fell backward from a tour bus at Longaberger Co corporate headquarters in Newark striking her head. She died about 12 hours later from head trauma at Ohio State University Medical Center after being airlifted. autopsy cited head trauma.

Ford fire at Avon Lake Ford plant causes $10,000 damage
