Security chief resigns at World Trade Center as lapses draw scrutiny
Durst Organization assistant security director David Velazquez resigns after months of security lapses at the World Trade Center site. Reports say a 16 year old climber and a sleeping guard highlighted weaknesses while a partial reopen is planned this summer and a museum opens May 21. Velazquez previously led FBI Newark office duties.
