Grafton man undergoes rare kidney pancreas transplant
Kevin Younglas of Grafton, 28, remained in critical but stable condition at the Cleveland Clinic after a late Friday kidney and pancreas transplant. The dual procedure, among about 500 worldwide, is one of only a few performed at the Clinic, with Younglas having waited nearly a year for both organs. His diabetes led to kidney loss and vision impairment, and he had continued dialysis during the wait.

Abex Corp and Kasper Foundry supply key components for the Statue of Liberty renovation costing over 200 million dollars. Abex at Taylor Street and Abbe Road made stainless steel treads for the spiral stairs and nosings for the base. Kasper Foundry at Oberlin Road casts about 70 iron steps.
