Judith A Wilhelm of Kennesaw Georgia died March 24 2011 after a four year cancer battle. She is survived by husband Fred Wilhelm children and grandchildren and a memorial service is set for April 2 2011 at Kennesaw United Methodist Church with donations suggested to the church Faith Building Fund. Robert A Braden Jr 68 of Lorain died March 28 2011 after a lengthy illness. Born May 21 1942 in Burbank California he lived in Vermilion Oberlin and Lorain. He married Drena Braden and leaves daughters Rachel and Roberta plus siblings and many relatives. Funeral services are April 1 2011 at Riddle Funeral Home Vermilion with memorials to Golden Acres Nursing Home Activities Fund.
Alice L. Snodgrass of New London died Sunday March 20 2011 at age 90. Survived by Molly Lewis Allison Green and Laure Blevins with grandchildren Jennifer Roberts Katherine Blevins Alexandra Mihalis and nine great grandchildren. Margaret Peg Downing aged 58 died March 26 2011 at University Hospital Cleveland after a long illness. Born May 22 1952 in Lorain she worked 15 years for General Electric 10 for Progressive and two at Center Ridge Nursing Home. Survived by husband Claude and sons James and Adam with brothers and many relatives. David Wise 62 of Carlisle Township died March 27 2011 at EMH Regional Medical Center after a short illness. He was born January 19 1949 in Elyria and lived in Elyria and Grafton areas his whole life. He retired from Allied Waste in Elyria after 30 years in January 2011. He belonged to Elyria AMVETS Post 32 and Grafton VFW Post 3341 and enjoyed the outdoors stock car racing NASCAR and his family. He is survived by partner Gloria Dybo three daughters Jill Fortner Kelly Poling Rebecca Summers a brother and a sister. He was preceded in death by a son and his parents. Ketchum 80 of Elyria Wisconsin died March 27 2011 at Wesleyan Village following a brief illness He was born June 11 1930 in Elyria to Frank and Lillian Ketchum A WWII era Air Force veteran he married Shirley Gwen in 1951 The family recalls his years in LaGrange Ohio as a work truck driver and Camp Asbury caretaker manager The funeral will be March 31 at La Grange United Methodist Church with burial in LaGrange Cemetery. Wanda F Hummer nee Hall 64 of South Amherst died March 27 2011 from cancer at Hospice of the Western Reserve Olmsted Falls. Born October 24 1946 in Thornton Kentucky she lived in Lorain County since the 1960s and worked at Discount Drug Mart Amherst and Higgins Pharmacy Amherst. Survived by husband Terry L Hummer two sons Jeffrey Holbrook Vermilion Aaron Holbrook Elyria six grandchildren three sisters five brothers and many relatives. Gale E Reinker Williams 69 formerly of Elyria died March 26 2011 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home Avon from Alzheimer's. She was born October 9 1941 in Elyria a life long resident and Elyria High School graduate who helped run Reinker Photography Studio and later Reinker Camera Photo Supply. She married Thomas E Williams MD in 1983 and helped manage his medical practice.
