Fashion show aids mastectomy patients in Lorain County
Esther Root and about 100 women attended a spring fashion show by the Lorain County chapter of the American Cancer Society. The event showcased high neck swimsuits and built in prosthesis pockets, plus lifelike breast prostheses ranging from silicone to fiber fillings. Volunteers from Reach to Recovery discussed options, emotional impact, and the goal of confidence, not hiding.
