Boy Is Injured When Truck Hits Bicycle
Parley Wallace, 13, of RL 1 de Obert, sustained abrasions and contusions on his head and chest after being struck by a Hebt truck while rifling a bicycle on Route 33 about a half mile north of Schramm road. He was taken to Allen Hospital, Oberlin, where injuries were not believed serious. The truck was owned by George Canales Cr. wholesale tobacco merchant in Lorain and driven by Stanley Snyder of Lorain, ALC. Lunterd of BR. 0. 1, Grate ton, suffered a minor laceration on his face when his car, driven by his son Harold, crashed from a tractor, went into a ditch, and knocked over a utility pole on West River street. Cars were damaged in a head-on collision on Gulf road at 4:20 p.m. Mrs. Florence Boswell of Cleveland and Melvin O. Markel of 63 Chestnut street had fronts badly damaged. The left front fender of a car owned by H. H. Frantman of 325 Eastern Heights boulevard was damaged while parked in front of the Masonic Temple by a car driven by Howard Steel of 20 Harvard avenue. Fenders on cars of Adam Botamer of 9 High street and B. Solyne of Lorain were damaged on Broad street at 4:00 a.m. yesterday. The rear trunk of a car driven by Mrs. W. Hy Maring of 2 Gates avenue was dented yesterday afternoon when she backed into a truck in a downtown alley.
